Approved Forms of Medical Marijuana
The state of Pennsylvania defines “medical marijuana” as marijuana obtained for certified medical use by a qualifying Pennsylvania resident with one or more of the 23 qualifying serious medical conditions approved by the state Department of Health.
There are currently seven approved forms of medical marijuana in the Commonwealth, which include:
- Pill
- Oil
- Tincture
- Liquid
- Topical forms like gel, cream or ointment
- Forms administered by vaporization or nebulization
- Flower
